Order Online Pick up Curbside
It’s easy to participate in the NMSA. You’ll need to make an online account at www.NoMoreStarvingArtists.ca and all food must be ordered online.
Please follow the directions on site – choose a pick up time, check out fully and get a confirmation email, and then arrive curbside and phone to let us know you are here.
No computer? The wonderful team at the Barrie Public Libraries can get you on a machine and will help you get started. Many support workers also help with this task too!
No mobile phone – just give us a call from home when you are leaving and confirm your pick up time.

Open Times Vary based on inventory levels – the online store is open most mornings by 10:00am, and it closes when we are out of food or by 1pm, whichever is earlier.
Occasionally it is open overnight.
We are not able to provide “emergency food”. Please do not send clients by to “see if it’s possible”.
All food orders are placed online and clients must have a reliable method of contact via telephone and email in case of food recall.
CURBSIDE PICK UP IS AT DOOR 7
Curbside Pick Up is by appointment only, once every 7 days. Choose a “pick up time” in the online store at NoMoreStarvingArtists.ca as part of your food order.
To obtain a “curbside pick up slot”, add a specific time and day of the week to your cart. If there are no times left today, then we are out of appointments. We are not able to provide delivery.
Typical curbside pick up times range from
10:30am – 1:00pm
Monday – Saturday
Remember to bring government issued ID with you. Orders can only be picked up by the person ordering or their PSW/Caseworker with ID.
Check the online storefront for today’s details.
Wish to donate?
We welcome your support to make a difference together! Food Rescue is different than a food bank, because all our food is ‘pre-consumer’ – rescued directly from an inspected facility (producer, retailer) to ours.
Our volunteers are Super Heros! They use their personal vehicles, pay for their own gas and donate their time to travel to donor locations to pick up food donations each week, ensuring good, nutritious food that has reached it’s ‘end of sale’ period (known as “best before”) can have one last opportunity to nourish our community before it is sent to landfill or composting.
Many of our volunteers also donate out of pocket to help purchase the supplies that we need to operate. We do not receive any operating funds from the City of Barrie, the Province of Ontario, the Government of Canada to provide this program.
If you wish to help support the food rescue with a $100 contribution or less, please choose one of the items featured here, and contact the vendor to make arrangements. They are long-term and respected suppliers who have supported us over the years, and they will ensure your purchase reaches us swiftly.
For support over $100, we’d love to connect you to Sarah Ingram at the Barrie Community Foundations, where all donations are invested to ensure they support our organization for the longest possible future ahead.
